For FACS analysis, use 10 ÎĽL of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 ÎĽL. Mouse anti rat CD169 antibody, clone ED3 recognizes the rat CD169 cell surface antigen, a approximately 185 kDa molecule expressed by macrophages, predominately confined to lymphoid organs only.
The siglecs are a family of membrane bound lectins (of the immunoglobulin superfamily) that bind sialic acid and mediate cell-cell interactions. Family members include sialoadhesin, CD22 and CD33. Sialoadhesin is a macrophage-specific cell adhesion molecule that is expressed on activated macrophages in chronic inflammation and in tumours.Specifications
