Invitrogen™ SYTOX™ Red Dead Cell Stain, for 633 or 635 nm excitation
A simple and quantitative single-step, dead-cell indicator for use with red laser-equipped flow cytometers.
Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ Cell Proliferation Dye eFluor™ 450
A violet fluorescent dye that can be used to monitor individual cell divisions for up to 7 generations.

Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ Calcein Violet 450 AM Viability Dye
Membrane-permeable live-cell labeling dye. Upon entering the cell, intracellular esterases cleave the acetoxymethyl (AM) ester group, yielding the membrane-impermeable Calcein Violet fluorescent dye. Apoptotic and dead cells with compromised cell membranes do not retain Calcein Violet 450.
Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ Fixable Viability Dye eFluor™ 506
A viability dye that can be used to irreversibly label dead cells prior to cryopreservation, fixation, and/or permeabilization procedures.
| Product Type | Dye |

Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ Calcein Blue AM Viability Dye
Membrane-permeable live-cell labeling dye. Upon entering the cell, intracellular esterases cleave the acetoxymethyl (AM) ester group, yielding the membrane-impermeable Calcein Blue fluorescent dye. Apoptotic and dead cells with compromised cell membranes do not retain Calcein Blue.
Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ Fixable Viability Dye eFluor™ 450

Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ Propidium Iodide
Standard reagent used for assessing cell viability and exclusion of non-viable cells in flow cytometry. PI binds to double-stranded DNA, but is excluded from cells with intact plasma membranes.
Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ 7-AAD Viability Staining Solution
Ready-to-use solution for the exclusion of nonviable cells in flow cytometric analysis. Can be used in combination with PE- and FITC-conjugated antibodies in 2-color analysis. The advantage of 7-AAD over PI is that there is minimal spectral overlap between these emissions.
Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ Fixable Viability Dye eFluor™ 520
Can be used to irreversibly label dead cells prior to cryopreservation, fixation and/or permeabilization procedures. Unlike 7-AAD and PI, cells labeled with Fixable Viability Dyes can be washed, fixed, permabilized and stained for intracellular antigens without loss of staining intensity.

Invitrogen™ JC-1 Dye (Mitochondrial Membrane Potential Probe)
Sensitive marker for mitochondrial membrane potential
Invitrogen™ XTT (2,3-Bis-(2-Methoxy-4-Nitro-5-Sulfophenyl)-2H-Tetrazolium-5-Carboxanilide)
Redox-based viability probe
Invitrogen™ Transferrin From Human Serum, Fluorescein Conjugate
Labeled LDL complexes useful in studying the delivery of up to two Fe3+ atoms via receptor-mediated endocytosis
Invitrogen™ CyQUANT™ Cytotoxicity Assay Kit (G6PD Release Assay)
CyQUANT cytotoxicity assays measure cellular toxicity based on the release of cytosolic enzymes (LDH or G6PD) from damaged cells. These cytotoxicity assays utilize either colorimetric or fluorescence detection and allow continuous monitoring of cell death using microplate readers.
