Invitrogen™ Human CLPH (aa 4-100) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Recombinant Protein
Supplier: Invitrogen™ RP100150
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (68%), Rat (68%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63114 (PA5-63114. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
CLPH (Casein-Like phosphoprotein) is a recently discovered, evolutionarily conserved, testis-specific cytoplasmic protein expressed exclusively in postmeiotic germ cells in rat spermatogenesis. CLPH is a novel casein kinase 2-phosphorylated disordered and calcium-binding protein that displays strong variation in relative expression levels during spermatogenesis. It is frequently associated with the mitochondrial inner membrane during the last steps of spermatid differentiation and is involved in the extremely complex structural rearrangements occurring in haploid germ cells during spermiogenesis.Spécifications
