An optional accessory for the LS 13 320 XR Universal Liquids Module (ULM). Sonication is a method to break up particle aggregates in order to facilitate sample preparation in a module.
The LS 13 320 XR Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer Multi-Wavelength (MW) Optical Bench features low-angle, forward light scattering with additional PIDS Technology. Optical Bench offers a measurement range of 0.010 μm to 3,500 μm and requires a Sampling Module, either ULM or DPS.

A sampling module for the LS 13 320 XR Particle Size Analyzer. The DPS is capable of feeding and measuring dry powder samples in the size range 0.40 μm to 3500 μm. The sample is placed in a DPS tube and delivered to the sensing zone in the optical bench by a required vacuum.

The LS 13 320 XR Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer Single Wavelength (SW) Optical Bench features low-angle, forward light scattering optics. Optical Bench requires a sampling module and offers a measurement range of 0.40 μm to 2,000 μm or 3,500 μm, depending on the selected module.
The Universal Liquids Module (ULM) is a sampling module for use with the LS 13 320 XR Particle Size Analyzer. It measures the entire sample introduced to the instrument by re-circulating the sample, and requires relatively small volumes of sample and dispersing liquid (125 mL).
Smart Technology Beakers fit the built-in beaker guide for proper positioning allowing the Multisizer 4e to deliver consistent, optimal results.
