Membrane-permeable dye used for determining changes in calcium concentrations in the cell using fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, fluorescence spectroscopy and fluorescence microplate readers. Once Indo-1 enters the cell, esterases cleave the AM group yielding a membrane-impermeable dye
Invitrogen™ eBioscience™ Calcium Sensor Dye eFluor™ 514
Membrane-permeable dye used to monitor changes in intracellular free calcium concentrations in the cell. Once eFluor™ 514 Calcium Sensor Dye enters the cell, cellular esterases cleave the AM group yielding a membrane-impermeable dye fluorescing at ≈520nm.
