Cleanroom Hoods
Cleanroom hoods are worn over the head and cover the neck and/or shoulders to prevent hair and skin cell contamination in cleanroom environments. They are loose-fitting to allow masks, respirators, eyewear, and other cleanroom clothing to be worn. Common low-shedding and non-shedding cleanroom hood materials include, but are not limited to, Tyvek, SMS, and microporous-coated fabrics (MP). Cleanroom hoods are ISO-rated and are available in sterile or non-sterile options.
