Ribonuclease inhibitorDiethyl dicarbonate acts as an inhibitor of ryanodine binding to ryanodine/calcium(II) receptor channel. It is useful for specific inactivation of nucleases during isolation of undegraded polynucleotides. Further, it inhibits platelet-activating factor acetyl hydrolase.
