Tubes
Le mot « tube » peut référer à tout type de petits contenants à dessus ou bout ouvert utilisés pour la collecte, le transport, l’entreposage, ou l’analyse d’échantillons solides ou liquides. Les tubes de laboratoire sont aussi appelés les tubes à essai, tubes à culture, tubes à centrifugation, tubes à microcentrifugation, tubes PCR, cryotubes, ainsi que plusieurs autres noms.
Chaque type de tube peut avoir une utilisation particulière ou encore est utile pour l’usage général. Certains conviennent au chauffage ou la congélation, certains sont fabriqués pour résister à la pression ou au stress, et d’autres sont utilisés pour les analyses moléculaires et biologiques.
