Thermo Scientific™ Immobilized Pepsin (Agarose Resin)
Description
Thermo Scientific™ Pierce Immobilized Pepsin consists of an acidic endopeptidase (pepsin) that has been immobilized onto beaded agarose resin to enable generation and purification of Fab and F(ab')2 fragments from antibodies.
Highlights:
- Pepsin can cleave Fc fragments from IgG, resulting in F(ab')2 fragments
- Broad specificity, including esterase activity
- Easy to use - simply remove the agarose beads to stop the enzymatic digestion
Includes:
Kit contains immobilized pepsin, other necessary reagents and an optimized protocol for human, rabbit and mouse antibody digestion.
