Protease inhibitor that acts on pepsin, renin and cathepsin D | CAS: 26305-03-3 | C34H63N5O9, C34H63N5O9 | 685.90 g/mol

Pepstatin A, is used as an irreversible inhibitor of HIV-1, aspartic proteases. Inhibits lysosomal proteases and interferes with autolysosomal digestion when used in combination with E 64d. Pepstatin A also efficiently inhibits HIV-1 protease and Fcγ receptor induction by IFN-γ.
