Molded Septa are manufactured from high quality, low bleed material that uses the same exclusive LB-2 rubber formulation chromatographers are accustomed to using.

  • Molded Septa offer easier installation and better sealing inside the injection port
  • A liquid injection molding process ensures that every septum conforms to the same shape with crisp, clean sides
  • Injection hole helps guide the syringe needle to puncture the same location every injection
  • Benefits of the injection hole include minimal coring and less septum fragments that could contaminate the inlet liner
  • High puncture tolerance makes these septa ideal for use with autosampler injections, manual injections, and/or SPME applications
  • The useable inlet temperature range of 100-350°C is adequate for most GC applications
