Description

The 88-Position R₂P Large-Scale Production Apparatus is ideal for pharmaceutical or vaccine production. The R₂P production and modular systems allow you to go from research to production without having to change protocols and revalidate; simply add decks and optional features as needed.

• Rotational speed and drivetrain are continuously monitored; built-in rotation alarm can be tied to an existing monitoring system and provides both visual and audible warning of out-of-tolerance conditions All-position drive accepts glass or plastic bottles 110 to 121mm in diameter and up to 550mm long
• Optional CART₂™ computer software monitors, controls, and records data on up to 2047 units

• With only 6 in. (15.2cm) between decks, it can accommodate up to 110 850 cm² bottles on eleven decks and still fit into most standard incubators, including The Breeder™ (22-288-530), and Wheaton Roll-In Incubator (11-690-1A)
• Weight of drive unit with one deck: 53 lb. (24kg); each additional deck is 161/2 lb. (7.5kg)
• Dimensions of drive unit with one deck is 241/2L × 31W × 131/2 in.H (62 × 79 × 34.5cm); each additional deck is 6 in.H (15.2cm)

Battery Backup Option

• Monitors the AC power and automatically switches between battery power and AC power as needed
• Provides auxiliary power to maintain complete functionality of the R₂P unit for a minimum of 18 hours
• Can be used to rotate the roller vessels during transport to and from the warm room or incubator
• Consists of two long-life sealed batteries and an automatic charger system
• Audible alarm and display backlight will not function during battery power mode
• Based on 110mm diameter vessels rolling at 5rpm
• Recharge time is 12 hours for completely discharged batteries, shorter for partially discharged batteries
• Automatically monitors temperature and adjusts charge voltage for correct charging levels at elevated incubator temperatures
