A general purpose hydrophobic alkyl phase that is very retentive and gives good peak shape for a wide variety of compounds.

SUPELCOSIL™ LC-18 Supelguard™ Cartridge may be used as a guard column along with SUPELCOSIL™ LC-18 HPLC Column during the analysis of: Synthetic food dyes in commercial soft drinks by ion-pair high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC IP) and Drugs in plasma and brain samples by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and protein precipitation in conjunction with HPLC combined with ultraviolet (UV) detection.
