Ansul™ SPILL-X Spill-Gun™ Agent Applicators

• Applicator consists of a spill control agent container, an expellant gas cartridge, a discharge hose, and a shut-off nozzle
• Suitable integral equipment permits fluidization of the spill control agent, pressurization of the container, and discharge of the spill control agent from upright position
• Applies a SPILL-X free-flowing, dry chemical agent from a distance of 3.0 to 3.7m (10 to 12 ft.)
• Can treat up to a 11.4L (3 gal.) spill, or 9.3 sq. m (100 sq. ft.)
• For use when spills flow underneath equipment and other hard to reach places
• All spill control applicators are manufactured with corrosion-resistant surfaces

Container

• Three piece steel assembly: welded tube, bottom and top closures
• Tested at three times the operating pressure
• Final production air test of 240psi (16.5 bar)

• Spring loaded to prevent moving during vibration
• 45° carrying angle

• One piece steel construction; contains nitrogen
• Gas retained through brass steel assembly
• Safety device with a rupture pressure range of 3150 to 3500 psi (217.2 to 241.3 bar), at a temperature of 127°C (260°F)

• Made of ethylene propylene diamine copolymer
• Shell connection coupling shall be equipped with an O-Ring
• UL approved for use at a temperature range of –54° to +48°C (–65° to +120°F)

• Made of iridited cast aluminum with component parts of stainless steel and other corrosion resistant materials
• Two guide bushings (front and back) to assure proper seating when used with intermittent discharge
