  • ReadyProbes Endogenous Peroxidase and Alkaline Phosphatase Blocking Solution inhibits endogenous peroxidase, pseudoperoxidase, and alkaline phosphatase activity in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, frozen tissue sections, and cell preparations.
  • It is provided in a ready-to-use format—just add a few drops and incubate for 10–15 minutes.
  • Endogenous peroxidase, pseudoperoxidase, and alkaline phosphatase activities become problematic when alkaline phosphatase (AP)- or horseradish peroxidase (HRP)- based detection systems are used.
  • ReadyProbes Endogenous Peroxidase and Alkaline Phosphatase Blocking Solution inhibits these endogenous activities, for reduced non-specific signal in immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunofluorescence (IF), and in situ hybridization (ISH) procedures. This blocker is used before any standard, non-specific blocking solutions (e.g., diluted serum).
