The entire kit can be stored at 2-8 degrees C for 6 months. Reconstituted Endotoxin standard solutions are stable for 4 weeks at 2-8 degrees C and reconstituted dye can be stored for 4 weeks at 2-8 degrees C. Reconstituted amebocyte lysate solution is stable for 1 week at -20 degrees C or colder if frozen immediately after reconstitution.

With UV technology, quantification isn't as sensitive, but it has a broader dynamic range and also gives data about sample purity‒plus it is faster because there is no reagent prep. No, the Qubit Flex Fluorometer allows you to select which wells will be used for the experiment. The standards and sample will only be read in the selected wells. If the option to select wells is not available on your Qubit Flex, please update to the current firmware version (download firmware from Technical Resources for Qubit Fluorometers). This feature was introduced in version 1.5.0.
