Description

Closed system with unique vented cap: precisely calibrated hole stops the column of blood at true zero

  • Pierceable stopper manufactured from a special formulation of linear low-density polyethylene to ensure a leakproof seal during the procedure
  • When the pipet is inserted into the vial, the diaphragm is designed to break away and the unit becomes a completely sealed system
  • Eliminates all manipulation “techniques” in setting sample at the zero mark
  • All excess blood flows into a closed, separate reservoir compartment automatically
  • Includes a stoppered, pre-filled vial containing 0.2mL of 3.8% sodium citrate diluent
  • Simply add 0.8mL of blood and mix
  • Eliminates separate diluent preparation, dilution, and handling steps required in other systems
  • Also available without diluent
