- Product Overview: CoolBigPrep™ 2 x 50 mL Adapter is a cryogenic adapter which allows simultaneous lysis of 2 x 50 mL samples. Based on passive temperature control technology, the CoolBigPrep™ adapter ensures an efficient cooling of the samples as dry-ice, placed into the moving tray is in direct contact with the sample tubes. Due to a high heat transfer capacity and FastPrep™ precise settings of lysis parameters, the samples can be repeatably homogenized in their unthawed state. A wide range of disposable 50 mL Lysing Matrix tubes ensure thorough homogenization of any sample type in 40 seconds or less.
