Description

KIMBLE™ KONTES™ Right Angle with Tip O-Ring Plugs for HI-VAC Valves feature a primary seal made with an FKM o-ring on a tapered seat. Available as Glass or CTFE plugs for high-vacuum applications up to 5 x 10−7 Torr, manufactured from borosilicate glass.

  • Available as Glass Plug or CTFE Plug
  • Primary seal made with FKM o-ring on tapered seat
  • Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements
  • Glass Plug: Used for applications where out-gassing plug material is not required; interchangeable with other HI-VAC counterparts
  • CTFE Plug: For vacuum applications up to 5 x 10-7 Torr; precision external thread for fine control; used as bleed at up to half turn with full open position at 1-1/2 turns
