Description

Measures alpha, beta, gamma and x-ray radiation using a 2 in. pancake GM detector with high sensitivity to common beta and alpha sources

  • Easy-to-read digital display shows readings in your choice of mR/hr, CPM, CPS, or μS/hr.
  • Total/Timer feature allows timed readings from one minute to 24 hours for precise measurement of low level contamination
  • Audible alert sounds when radiation reaches a user-adjustable level
  • Automatically compensates for GM tube dead time
  • Will not jam in high radiation fields
  • A dual miniature jack allows counts to be output to computer or data logger, while a submini jack allows electronic calibration
  • Powered by one 9V alkaline battery, which provides an average 2160 hours at normal background and a minimum 625 hours at 1mR/hr. with beeper off
