Only Brady i7500 print heads can be used in the i7500 printer
Printhead replacements or head dpi changes are highly recommended to be completed by Brady Technical Support, which includes ESD-handling and factory fine-tuning with head alignment
Printheads can be changed by the user to a replacement 300 dpi head or a 600 dpi head so long as the printer has firmware v2.0 or above (ESD grounding and gloves recommended)
To optimize printhead life, clean the head regularly with IPA cleaning swabs (PCK 6), replace worn or rough platen rollers, use narrow rollers when printing narrow ribbon or narrow label combinations and avoid unnecessary high printhead heat settings
Damage to the printhead due to user installation is not covered under warranty
Warranty on replacement printheads is 1 year
