Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (38%), Rat (38%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-140015 (PA5-140015. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. ZNF446 contains a KRAB and three C(2)H(2) zinc fingers. ZNF446 is a transcription repressor when fused to GAL4 DNA-binding domain and co-transfected with VP-16. Overexpression of ZNF446 in COS-7 cells inhibits the transcriptional activities of SRE.
