Description

A 3-glucose cellulodextrin derived from cellulose degradation. An energy source for cellulosic bacteria. Can be used to help identify, differentiate and characterize oligosaccharide metabolizing enzymes such as endoglucanases and --glucosidases. Also useful in saccharification and ethanol fermentation research.
