Description
CaptureSelect IgA-XL Affinity Matrix is intended for the purification of human IgA, with no binding to other immunoglobulins. The IgA-XL affinity matrix provides improved binding capacities (>15 g/L IgA) and elution characteristics (full elution at pH 4) compared to CaptureSelect IgA Affinity Matrix.
Features of this affinity matrix include:
- Purification of all IgA serotypes: IgA1, IgA2, dimeric IgA, and S-IgA (secretory IgA)
- IgA purification from plasma, serum, and recombinant sources
- Efficient purification of IgA with high yields and retained activity
- Excellent scalability
- Non-animal-derived
CaptureSelect IgA-XL Affinity Matrix binds to the Fc part of IgA. The high selectivity and yields obtained using IgA-XL Affinity Matrix enable a robust, fast, and efficient purification process with excellent purity obtained in one step.
Animal origin statement
CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology. The VHH affinity ligand is a 12–15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (animal origin-free).
