Designed for general chemistry applications, Protector XL Fume Hoods exceed the SEFA 1 standard for low-velocity high-performance hoods and can operate at face velocities as low as 60fpm. They offer the lowest air volume requirements on the market.
Protector XL Hoods have chemical-resistant and fiberglass-reinforced panel liners and baffles, safety-glass sashes, and powder-coated steel exteriors. The baffles can be removed for cleaning and the panels allow easy access to electrical and plumbing connections.
Customize your Protector XL Hood with additional fixture kits. Standard hoods can accommodate up to eight service fixtures and four electrical duplexes.
