Description

The Applied Biosystems TrueMark Respiratory II Plus Combo Kit achieves molecular detection through real-time PCR technology, offering an end-to-end workflow for many common infectious disease areas by utilizing the power of QuantStudio real-time PCR systems. The combination of a TrueMark panel (included) and a QuantStudio system helps enable rapid, accurate detection and categorization of microorganisms that cause respiratory diseases.

The TrueMark Respiratory II Plus panel is composed of convenient, duplexed TaqMan assays that detect coronavirus 229E, coronavirus HKU1, coronavirus NL63, coronavirus OC43, parainfluenza virus 1, parainfluenza virus 2, parainfluenza virus 3, parainfluenza virus 4, and an internal control in the same reaction, utilizing real-time PCR techniques.

Features of the TrueMark Respiratory II Plus panel include:

The TrueMark Respiratory II Plus Combo Kit is used with nasopharyngeal swab or nasopharyngeal aspirate samples on our QuantStudio real-time PCR systems.

The TrueMark Respiratory II Plus Panel is a collection of duplex assays that detect microbes and an internal control in the same reaction for qualitative detection and identification of coronavirus 229E, coronavirus HKU1, coronavirus NL63, coronavirus OC43, parainfluenza virus 1, parainfluenza virus 2, parainfluenza virus 3, parainfluenza virus 4 in nasopharyngeal (NP) or nasopharyngeal aspirate swabs obtained from individuals exhibiting signs and symptoms of a respiratory tract infection.
