Description

PanK Activator

PZ 3022 is a potent allosteric pantothenate kinase (PanK) activator (EC50=5.3 nM for PanK3). In a mouse model of propionic acidemia, treatment with PZ 3022 increases hepatic CoASH and C2-CoA, and decreases C3-CoA, improving intracellular C3:C2-CoA ratio and plasma C3:C2-carnitine ratios. PZ 3022 is orally bioavailable.
