Description

Use for small-scale sample preparation using magnetic beads. Cytiva Life Sciences™ MagRack 6 enables handling of up to six samples in 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes.

When tubes are placed in the rack, the magnetic beads are attracted to the magnet within a few seconds. Tubes can be locked in position and the rack inverted, which allows easy removal of waste solutions between steps in the protocol, while the magnetic beads remain in the tube.

The rack consists of anodized aluminum housing with a detachable plastic magnetic bar containing six neodymium magnets.
