The Applied Biosystems MagMAX Dx Viral/Pathogen NA Isolation Kit is a magnetic-bead-based nucleic acid purification kit intended for the isolation and purification of viral and bacterial nucleic acid from respiratory biological specimens for downstream qPCR applications.

The Applied Biosystems MagMAX Dx Viral/Pathogen NA Isolation Kit is specifically designed to recover viral and bacterial nucleic acids from human respiratory biological specimens for qPCR downstream applications. The kit uses MagMAX magnetic-bead technology to enable reproducible recovery of high-quality nucleic acids.

Features of the MagMAX Dx Viral/Pathogen NA Isolation Kit include:

  • For in vitro diagnostic use. This product is US IVD compliant
  • For isolation and purification of viral and bacterial nucleic acids from a range of respiratory biological specimens such as nasopharyngeal swab, anterior nasal swab, sputum, and saliva
  • Single, flexible automation protocol that accommodates sample volume inputs of 200–400 μL
  • Fast, automated procedures that allow 96 samples to be processed on the KingFisher Apex Dx Purification Instrument with ∼30-minute instrument run time
