Impact-resistant Lysing Matrix M can be used with FastPrep instruments or similar bead beater. Used to grind hard or brittle tissues and to isolate intact viruses from infected tissues. Specialty applications include RNA extraction from difficult samples where lysis by impaction only is preferable with minimal amounts of mechanical shearing.
