Kromasil Classic 100 Å family of products is used to separate and purify molecules of up to about 10,000 Da.
- Kromasil™ C18 HPLC column involves a silica-based packing.
- The reduced levels of Na, K, Ca, Fe, Al, and Mg make the column useful for polar compounds, which tend to interact with the silica surface.
- Reverse phase (RP) HPLC columns are advantageous in ensuring high precision data, they are widely available commercially and are easy to use and less time-consuming.
