Consist of two stainless-steel electrodes that grasp the surface site to be electroporated

- Electrochemotherapy (ECT): the use of pulsed electric fields to deliver chemotherapeutic drugs into cancerous tumors or
- Transdermal Delivery (TDD): use of a pulsed electric field to deliver drugs or other molecules through the skin to the targeted site
