Description

General-purpose column used for the separation of acids, alcohols, barbitals, diols, epoxides, esters, hydrocarbons, ketones, lactones and terpenes

The main difference between CHIRALDEX B-PM and the Supelco beta-DEX 110 and Supelco beta-DEX 120 phases is the concentration of the permethyl-derivatized cyclodextrin that is doped into the polysiloxane carrier. CHIRALDEX B-PM is a general-purpose column used for the separation of acids, alcohols, barbitals, diols, epoxides, esters, hydrocarbons, ketones, lactones and terpenes. Also, some underivatized alcohols and diols as well as some analytes with polar groups, i.e. tertiary amines, show excellent separation.
