Each contains 450 mL Tetrazole Acetonitrile Solution.

Tetrazole, a weak acid, is the proton source for monomer activation. Stoichiometry and concentration are critical for tetrazole and phosphoramidites to maintain efficient coupling. Each lot of tetrazole is tested to ensure:

  • Ability to adequately support DNA synthesis
  • Minimum water content (≤50ppm) via Karl Fischer analysis
  • Tetrazole concentration (±3%)
