Description

Small Grinding Vial grinds soft plant and animal tissues and eliminates metal contamination.

  • Small Poly-Vial Set contains everything necessary to make one complete grinding vial plus three spare polycarbonate center cylinders.
  • Grinds one sample at a time in 6775 Freezer/Mill.
  • Grinds four samples at a time in Large Freezer/Mill when used in conjunction with 6806 Multi-Vial Adapter.
  • Sample grinding capacity: 0.5 to 4 g (0.5 to 4.0 mL)
  • Withstands liquid nitrogen temperatures.
  • Closed grinding vial prevents sample cross-contamination, retains volatiles, and controls hazardous or critical samples.
  • Transparent plastic center cylinder allows visual checking of the grinding progress.
  • Disposable polycarbonate center cylinders.
  • Polycarbonate end plugs, impactor, and center cylinders may be cleaned with hot water and detergent or RNase/DNase-free solution.
  • Compatible with 6754 Small Extractor/Vial Opener.
