Dräger™ Short-Term Detector Tubes - Phosphine
Description
Dräger tubes are glass vials containing a chemical reagent designed to detect and measure gas concentrations. These tubes are used with manual pumps, such as the Dräger Accuro™ bellows pump, or automatic pump systems.
- Gas Measured: Phosphine
- Standard Measuring Range: 0.5 to 3 ppm
- Number of Strokes (n): 1
- Measurement Duration: Approx. 1 min
- Standard Deviation: ±10% to 15%
- Color Change: Yellow to red
- Sample Volume: 100 mL
- Temperature Range: 2°C to 40°C
- Humidity Limit: Max. 40 mg H2O/L
- Reaction Principle: PH3 + HgCl2 → Hg-phosphide + HCl; HCl + pH-indicator → red reaction product
- Cross Sensitivity: Up to 6 ppm sulfur dioxide or 15 ppm hydrogen chloride do not interfere with the reading. Higher concentrations may cause positive errors. Ammonia (>100 ppm) may cause negative errors. Arsine and hydrogen sulfide are indicated with different sensitivities. 30 ppm hydrogen cyanide does not interfere.
- Extension of measuring range listed is possible for some detector tubes. Call Fisher Scientific™ at 1-800-772-6733 for more information.
- Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) certified.
