Ideal for clarifying and removing particles of 1μm and larger, and in applications that do not require a low-ash or ashless paper

  • Cellulose fiber papers
  • Available as circular, rectangular, and square sheets
  • Good wet strength
  • Suitable for gravity, vacuum filtration systems and low suction filtration
  • Particle Retention: 4–8μm
  • Medium-fine porosity
  • Filtration Speed: Herzberg, 730 sec.
  • Flowrate: Slow—25mL/min.
  • Surface: Smooth

Not suitable for nitrogen analysis.

Applications:

General purpose: slightly slower, more retentive than P5. Retains MgNH4PO4, silver sulfide, cadmium sulfide. In air monitors, collects particulates and chromic acid mist.
