EMD Millipore Novagen™ BCA Protein Assay Kit is based on biuret reaction, which is the reduction of Cu2+ to Cu+ by proteins in alkaline solution.

  • Sufficient to complete 500 standard-size reactions or or 2500 microscale reactions
  • Used to determine protein concentrationin the range of 20-2000 μg/mL
  • Robust, can be performed in presence of many compounds
  • BSA standard (2 mg/mL) is provided for convenient and reliable preparation of standard curves
