A mixture of lipoprotein cholesterol, phospholipids and fatty acids. For use as a serum-free or serum-reduced media nutrient supplement, calibration of cholesterol values, and enzymatic or nonenzymatic cholesterol determinations. Offered as a low-salt solution. No preservatives. Free of enzyme inhibitors. Filtered through 0.2μm membrane filter. Cholesterol concentration: 1000-2000mg/dL.
