Description
A highly sensitive, homogenous fluorometric assay for organophosphatase acitivty of paraoxonase. Based on hydrolysis of fluorogenic analog, this assay is >ten-fold more sensitive than the colorimetric assay, and unlike colorimetric assay, distinguishes samples of very similar paraoxonase activity.
- Assay requires only 5μL of serum, yields signal in as little as 15 minutes, and is linear for up to 50 minutes
- Assay requires only single reaction that can be either continuously monitored or terminated using the stop reagent included in kit
