Leadmium™ Green AM dye

The proprietary Leadmium™ Green AM dye from Molecular Probes™ provides researchers with a unique tool to specifically measure intracellular lead and cadmium levels with high sensitivity. While standards assays exist for measuring lead and cadmium in solution, the unique Leadmium™ Green AM indicator was specifically designed to detect these toxic environmental contaminants inside living cells.

–Highly specific indicator for intracellular measurements of lead and cadmium

–Flexible format allows use on multiple formats - flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy imaging and plate readers

–Bright fluorescence and high discrimination from calcium allows detection of nanomolar levels of lead and micromolar levels of cadmium

–Convenient excitation with 488 nm laser line

–The Leadmium™ Green AM dye is readily loaded and is retained very well following esterase cleavage of the acetoxymethyl group
