Description

Protector Evidence Drying Cabinets provide a secure ventilated area to dry evidence such as clothing and bedding.

A built-in blower provides airflow through the cabinet interior to speed drying. Air passes through the door inlet prefilter, circulates up through the interior, passes through the exhaust prefilter, HEPA and carbon filters and is exhausted back to the room through the top of the cabinet.

  • Durable, stainless steel-lined construction
  • HEPA and carbon-filtered exhaust protects personnel from exposure to biohazards while eliminating nuisance odors
  • Ultraviolet light provides secondary disinfection of interior between cases to prevent cross contamination, ensuring integrity of samples for DNA testing
  • Lockable cabinet maintains the chain of custody
  • UV security lock limits access to the ultraviolet light switch
  • Safety glass door with magnetic seal maximizes visibility into the cabinet while withstanding exposure to ultraviolet light
  • Inlet roughing prefilter traps dust and other large particles in the air entering the cabinet
  • Storage area below cabinet houses drain bucket and holds miscellaneous cleaning supplies
  • Leak-tight brushed stainless-steel interior cleans easily
  • Three-position switch activates fan or ultraviolet light (only when UV security lock key is in ON position)
  • Spacious interior measures 26.5D x 32.25W x 56 in.H (81.9 x 67.3 x 142.2cm)
  • Stainless-steel hanging rod accommodates clothing, bedding and other tall or bulky items; three wire mesh shelves
  • Exhaust roughing prefilter traps particulates in the exhaust air to prolong the life of the HEPA filter
  • HEPA filter, 99.99% efficient on particles 0.3 micron, traps airborne particulates including biohazardous aerosols, as air is exhausted from cabinet interior
  • Large 14-quart plastic bucket, located in the storage area below the cabinet, collects liquids from the drain in the cabinet's floor to aid clean up
