Description

KONTES™ HI-VAC Straight Valve with Tip-O-Ring and PTFE Plug is designed for vacuum applications up to 5 x 10−7 Torr. Features a non-rotating PTFE shaft, precision external thread for fine control, and a Viton o-ring primary seal on a tapered seat.

For vacuum applications up to 5 x 10-7 torr

  • Designed for vacuum applications up to 5 x 10−7 Torr
  • Precision external thread for fine control
  • Non-rotating PTFE shaft with primary seal made with Viton™ o-ring on tapered seat
  • Full open position at 1-1/2 turns
  • Can be used as a bleed valve at up to 1/2 turn
  • PTFE shaft suitable for continuous use at 230°C or intermittent use at 275°C
  • Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements
