Description

Uses small ubiquitin-related modifier (SUMO) fusion, belonging to growing family of ubiquitin-related proteins, to enhance solubility of expressed fusion proteins

After expression, 11 kd SUMO moiety can be cleaved by highly specific and active SUMO (ULP-1) protease at carboxyl terminal, producing native protein
