Description

This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Bovine, Pig, Sheep and Goat Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. IGFBP2 (insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2) is a member of the ISGBP family which bind various IGFs. IGFBP2 is overexpressed in a wide spectrum of cancers, including glioma, prostate cancer, synovial sarcoma, neuroblastoma, colon cancer, adrenocortical cancer, lung cancer, Wilms' tumor, and hepatoblastoma. The overexpression of IGFBP2 also correlates with the aggressiveness of some tumors. IGFBP2 activates the expression of matrix metalloprotease 2, which contributes to cell invasiveness.
