Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (34%), Rat (34%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-51625 (PA5-51625. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

This gene encodes a protein that likely functions as a transcription factor. The protein contains an N-terminal KRAB domain and several C2H2-type zinc finger motifs. Mutations in this gene cause mental retardation X-linked type 45 (MRX45).
