Invitrogen™ Human ZNF202 (aa 295-379) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (61%), Rat (61%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-140097 (PA5-140097. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
ZNF202 (Zinc finger protein 202) is a transcriptional repressor of genes affecting the vascular endothelium as well as lipid metabolism and energy homeostasis. Among its targets are structural components of lipoprotein particles (apolipoproteins AIV, CIII, and E), enzymes involved in lipid processing (lipoprotein lipase, lecithin cholesteryl ester transferase), transporters involved in lipid homeostasis (ABCA1, ABCG1), and several genes involved in processes related to energy metabolism and vascular disease.
