Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (68%), Rat (68%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-53995 (PA5-53995. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

ZFAND2A (AN1-type zinc finger protein 2A) is a 171 amino acid protein containing two AN1-type zinc fingers. AN1-type zinc fingers contain six conserved cysteines, two histidines and have a dimetal (zinc)-bound alpha/beta fold. The gene encoding ZFAND2A maps to human chromosome 7, which houses over 1,000 genes and comprises nearly 5% of the human genome.
