Description

Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (99%), Rat (99%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57715. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the tetratrico peptide repeat superfamily of proteins. The encoded protein plays a role in protein-protein interactions, and binds to the Galpha subunit of G protein-coupled receptors to activate the Ras signaling pathway. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
