Invitrogen™ Human TRMT2B (aa 173-264) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (78%), Rat (78%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57161 (PA5-57161. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Probable S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent methyltransferase that catalyzes the formation of 5-methyl-uridine at position 54 (m5U54) in all tRNA. May also have a role in tRNA stabilization or maturation.
